Baselius College Kottayam

Initially established as a junior college under Malankara Orthodox Christian management, Baselius College has since evolved into one of the best colleges in the region, offering 12 under graduate and 7 post-graduate programs and 3 research centers. The college is accredited with A++ grade by NAAC in the 4th cycle and is placed in 150 - 200 rank band of NIRF ranking. About RUSA Project
“Extension of Library and Administrative Block” , the new construction work with a sanctioned amount of Rs. 1,00,00,000 under RUSA 2 project, was completed and inaugurated by the honorable Minister of Higher Education & Social Justice Dr. Bindu R on 21.03.2022. The accredited agency for the construction work was District Nirmithi Kendra, Kottayam. The three-storied complex in 6000 sq. ft houses anl expanded library (extension of the existing library) equipped with specially arranged learning and reading facilities for the visually impaired students on the ground floor and an administrative block comprising a conference hall with modern facilities on the first floor. The Quality Initiative Block on the third floor is envisaged to enhance the facilities for extracurricular activities of the students. The construction of ramps for the differently abled has been instrumental in providing easy access to the various buildings and facilities of the college, ensuring that all students have equal opportunities to learn and grow. This project is a testament to the college's commitment to providing high quality infrastructure facilities and ambience to its students and staff, enabling them to excel in their academic and personal pursuits.
