Bishop Chulaparambil Memorial College Kottayam
Bishop Chulaparambil Memorial College Kottayam was established on 11th July 1955 by H.E. Mar Thomas Tharayil, the then Bishop of Kottayam Diocese. College is a Postgraduate Educational Institution (Aided) of the Knanaya Catholic Community with Departments of Arts, Science and Commerce, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam; and the UGC under section 2 (f). Declared as a Minority Educational Institution under section 2 (g) of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institution Act. From its humble beginnings the college has made steady progress and now she is one of the foremost colleges in Kerala with sixteen undergraduate courses, eight post graduate courses, 146 staff and; over 1600 students. The College is NAAC Accredited A+ College (CGPA 3.46).

Construction: The college hostel has a reputation as Home away from home for its inmates and bringing up students as socially committed and morally upright persons. Also the Hostel is approved by the SC/ST welfare department of the college students. The college completed the construction of second floor of women’s hostel with 29 rooms in a total area of 509M 2 . Renovation: Renovation component include roofing work of auditorium, roofing work of portion of academic building, flooring at canteen, installation of solar plant, renovation of toilet block, renovation of laboratories and electrical work. All the renovation works are completed.
