About RUSA Project

Under the Construction head, 1.06 crore was budgeted to build the ground floor of the new Academic Block which includes an Instrumentation Lab, Computer Centre and PG & Research Library. One crore is sanctioned by RUSA and the remaining six lakhs is to be met from the college funds. At present, more than 60% of the construction work has been completed by Habitat Technology Group and work has resumed from 15th March as funds have been released and it is expected to be completed by last week of July 2023. Under the Renovation head, a total of 34 lakhs was budgeted to renovate the seminar hall to an e-learning cum video conferencing centre. The renovation work has been completed with an expense of Rs 3118861/-. Under the Purchase head, 66 lakhs has been allocated for the furnishing of the renovated seminar hall, auditorium, digitalization and automation of library, smart classrooms etc. With prior approval from RUSA, purchase of chairs amounting to around 9 lakhs (using own funds till release of funds) for the e-learning centre has been completed.
