Nehru Arts and Science College Kanhangad established in 1968, is a government-aided private college,Affiliated to the Kannur University, recognized as a premier institution of higher learning with a vision “Education for all and for all round development”. The college offers UG and PG programmes in Science, Arts and Commerce, viz. 10 UG, 5 PG, 1 Integrated PG and 1 Ph.D. programme in Statistics. Out of the 10 UG programmes, 6 are in the Science stream, 3 are in Arts and 1 is in Commerce. PG programmes are offered in Statistics, Physics, History, English and Commerce. The integrated PG programme is in MSc. Computer Science with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. NAAC has re-accredited the College in the 3rd Cycle of Assessment with „A‟ grade with CGPA 3.35.NIRF rankings have further validated our efforts to uphold the highest possible academic values and standards. In the NIRF-2022 ranking, the college was placed in the 151- 200 rank-band in India. Overall, the college continued to be a pillar of academic excellence in the region, building on its rich history of providing a well-rounded education to students.
