N.S.S College, Manjeri is a government aided Arts and Science college of Nair Service Society affiliated to University of Calicut and accredited by B+ grade. It is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Malappuram district. College was inaugurated by Sri. P.M.Thirumulpad on 15th July 1965. At present the college offers eight undergraduate courses and three post-graduate courses. Department of History is a research department. Strong faculties comprising of 38 teachers of whom 80% are research degree holders, manage the teaching and learning process. The college campus consists of a stadium which was constructed with the financial support of UGC in the vicinity of the institution. A computer lab, language lab and a fully equipped seminar hall are the recent additions to the facilities available to the students. The computer lab conducts a training programmee with the aim of acquiring 100% computer literacy among the staff and students of the college. Currently we have 10 smart classes.
