Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (RCSS) has a range of multidisciplinary programs from undergraduate to doctoral levels, including Social Work, Computer Science, Psychology, Library & Information Sciences, Commerce, Statistics, and Management among others. The College has been conferred with Autonomous Status by University Grants Commission, New Delhi with effect from 2014 onward and is one of the top educational institutions in Kerala, with a reputation for academic excellence and a tradition of providing high-quality education to students. The college has consistently ranked in the top two colleges in India for programs in social work and its management program. It has been accredited A++ by UGC’s NAAC based on its all-India high score of 3.83/4 (Fourth Cycle) in 2021. NIRF has ranked RCSS in the top 50 colleges in India and in the latest at the 27th position. RCSS has won several accolades and awards, including the second position in the Swachh Campus Ranking 2019 conducted by MHRD as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission of the Government of India. The college was awarded the “Indian Quality Assurance Award 2020-21” jointly constituted by Indian Quality Assurance Council and Indian Society for Training & Development. The college also secured AICTE-Utkrisht Sansthan Vishwakarma Award 2020, Third Position for its significant contributions in the Category-Awareness Programme Conducted for nearby locality against the spread of COVID-19 across India.
