In order to meet the water scarcity and lack of clean water, the college construct an underground water tank that can store about 5lakh litres of harvested rain water. As the college has built a canopy covering about 12000sq.ft for a multi- purpose ground in the college campus, the college can easily harvest 5lakh of litres of rainwater. The college can use this water to meet its water requirement during the summer season, when the college finds it difficult to have sufficient water for its varied uses. The college has always been at the forefront among the colleges in Kerala in rain water harvesting and water conservation in the campus and has won several awards for environment friendly and nature conservation projects.
