St. Pius X College, Rajapuram

St. Pius X College, Rajapuram is named in the loving memory of its Heavenly Patron, Pope St. Pius X. The College owns 25 acres of land bought by the generous contributions of the poor people of Rajapuram Colony, Kasaragod District. This backward area now came to the limelight and became a nodal centre of growth with the establishment of this college. Raised to the status of Govt. Aided College in 1995 with three courses, the college is now having 07 UG and 01 PG course. In the 2nd cycle in 2014 the college is re-accredited with NAAC ‘A’ Grade and maintained ‘A’ Grade in its 3rd cycle in 2021. The kind of education envisaged by the institution is all encompassing. Apart from academics and co-curricular activities, the college aims at imparting complete personality development based on sound values.

About RUSA Project

St. Pius X College has prepared the proposal as per the guidelines of RUSA 2.0. While preparing the proposal we have considered various aspects like suggestions of last NAAC peer team that visited the college, needs of the students and teachers and requirements of technology enabled teaching. We have opted for the ratio 50:35:15 (One core for construction, seventy lakhs for renovation and thirty lakhs for purchase) of the proposed 2 crores project and RUSA 2.0 approved the submitted DPR and sanctioned the same.
