About RUSA Project
Utilizing the funds under RUSA, the college built a High Tension Transformer within the campus to address the issue of power shortage as the institution houses advanced lab equipment. As the institution has over 3000 students, there was often the issue of water shortage which was solved by constructing a water tower within the premises. Being one of the oldest colleges in Kerala, with a 125 year old history, it was important that the infrastructure should undergo occasional maintenance. The fund provided under RUSA enabled the college to protect the heritage buildings of the campus.
